Art of Georgia Exhibit

“Watson Mill Bridge”

Selected for inclusion in the next Art of Georgia exhibit! The work will be exhibited in the Office of Governor Brian P. Kemp at the Capitol and also in the Governor’s Mansion: the exhibition is held between Aug 7th 2023 to July 30th 2024. The exhibit has been extended through February 2025.

48th Juried Exhibition at Lyndon House Arts Center

On view from March 2 – May 6 (2023). The show is curated by Maria Elena Ortiz, Curator at The Modern in Fort Worth, Texas. Maria Elena Ortiz reviewed 682 works of art by 245 Athens area artists.  Of these, Ms. Ortiz chose 154 works by 107 local artists. In addition, multiple awards selected by the Juror will be announced on opening day. Throughout the run of the exhibition, the Lyndon House Arts Center will be hosting artist talks in the galleries Thursday evenings during the month of April.  Those dates are April 6, 13, 20, and 27th. Two paintings were selected to show at the Juried Exhibition: MOOD at Athens Institute for Contemporary Art (ATHICA) in Athens, GA. The show ran from October 15-November 20, 2022.

WaterWorks Art Museum, Montana

Both “Caribbean Nights” (12×12 acrylic) and “Savannah at Twilight” (6×6 acrylic) were sold at WaterWorks Art Museum. They were part of a silent auction in August 2022.

  • “Automatic for the People” was selected to be a part of the 2020 Traveling Art Show. It showed at The Gallery in Glendive, MT from March 23- April 24, the MonDack Heritage Center from May 1-28 and the Schoolhouse History and Art Center from June 3-27. From July 4-25th it was at at O’Fallon Museum in Baker, MT., and the Ekalaka Public Library from July 29- August 14. The Henry A Malley Memorial Library from Aug 20- Sept. 27, and finally, the Garfield County Library from Nov 10- Dec. 31. Was so honored to be a part of this show!
